Mr. Ashley Allers has been playing mas for over 20 years and recalls some of his earlier experiences playing with the late Janice Reynolds, Haynes Smith and Cynthia Hull. He truly enjoys having a good time playing mas, whether it is at one of the local island festivals, in Antigua, St. Maarten, Barbados, St. Lucia and Trinidad, you can’t miss him enjoying himself. Ashley is a real community minded individual who is very proud of his community and loves to be referred to as "De Village Man". His involvement and dedication to his community certainly has contributed to encouraging the number of persons to play mas the PhunnMakers way. Like his buddies would say, "there is only one Ashley Allers".

Mr Lyndon Berry hails from the village of Newton Ground and has been seen over the years in the various carnival bands such as Janice Reynolds, Stacy Hobson, Haynes Smith and Cynthia Hull to name a few. He is known for gathering the troupes together to “get on bad”. Lyndon worked with the SKNA national Bank for over fifteen years up until he migrated to the United States with his family in 2003, but he remains a true and loyal PhunnMaker.

Ms. Christine A. Walwyn claims to have received her love for carnival from the roots of our folklore, Samuel’s Masqueraders of Market Street. As a young child, she collected the feathers from the peacock her family kept as a pet for Mr. Samuel year round, with the hope that her payment would be that the group would perform in front of her family home as the first and last stop on their daily routine during Carnival. Her first performance in a Carnival band was of course as a masquerade in Toronto, Canada with a group that she was a founding member. She has also performed as a clown several times and has now found the main stream troupes to be less strenuous as the years creep up.

Her motto is “Work hard to play hard” and hates to miss a carnival whether in North America, Europe or the Caribbean. She is very much involved with the community especially her birthplace, Old Road that she always boasts about. Born on Boxing Day in the height of J’Ouvert, she is truly a PhunnMaker.
